Has over 20 years experience as clinician. She has also provided supervision for student interns for more than 7 years and is a state approved supervisor for the state of Texas. Currently accepting clients in Texas and Louisiana. Currently working as the Clinical Director/Trainer for Samaritan Counseling Center of Southeast Texas, she loves the opportunity to educate and share a message of mental health wellness with others.

Worked in the mental health field for 20 years, starting off as an intern for the Juvenile Justice System in New Orleans, LA, Worked in Crisis Intervention and Acute Hospitalization in Nashville, TN. Rooted in nonprofit, I worked for Communities In Schools as a program manager. Associate Executive Director for Substance Abuse program with a Clinical Training Institute, all with a focus of learning and growing clinicians.

Experience in Insurance and Claims- worked in Risk Management with Union Pacific and State Farm Insurance as adjuster but always focusing on Diversity and Inclusion Programs to promote healthy dialogue and cultivate a healthy and diverse culture.

Married to a loving husband with whom they share 3 adult sons and a vivacious 5 year old daughter.
